Best motivation is when you get to test fit the dome.    Main dome panels finished, including the upper pie.  Working on both rings and will be ordering my LazySusan from Amazon shortly.

Upper dome is held together with Duct Tape for now.  Going to wait on the rings before glueing

Are you doing this as a C2 unit, or priming and painting white/blue after? Looking good quality wise. Love my CR-10. Haven't even upgraded to dual Z and she's printing like a beast!

Very sorry Tim, did not see this reply or was notified of such.   Nope standard R2 unit, white and blue.  Just had a few rolls of Black to use up first.   Because this R2 is, hopefully, being used at my daughters wedding.  Along with my BB8, Mouse and K2S0... I'm now the proud owner of a CR-10 (my original) CR-10S and a CR-10 S5 (holy cow is this thin huge).   I travel a lot and just getting things set back up from being away.  All three printers going non stop until the weekend.  Have two back to back week long trips and running out of time.

Started sanding, priming, sanding, priming..... Dome

Same here. Pre-drilled and actually cost less than the ones I had found on Amazon at the time.
